Why use UVC?
  • Ultra Violet C band is the short wave length of the Ultra Violet spectrum with a wave length from 200 to 280 nanometers. This wave length has proven to have the most germicidal effectiveness.

  • Germicidal UVC energy penetrates the outer structure of the cell and alters the DNA molecule. This prevents replication causing cell death. Germicidal effectiveness is directly related to the dose applied, and dosage is the product of time and intensity.

  • Treatment of food products with UVC have proven benefits including increased yield and safety, longer product shelf life, reductions in localized mold and bacteria contamination, and the ability to eliminate or reduce amounts of chemical preservatives.

  • C&S has the patent pending method to get maximum exposure to all surfaces of your product. Portable machines are available for testing your product either at our site or your facility. Contact Us for Solutions
